This award is dedicated to the memory of Carol McGill. As a trainer, Carol was well known for her meticulous attention to detail, sportsmanship and her compassion for horses. Carol felt that there was more to the sport than just being a winner in the ring. The recipient of this award is the junior rider who best exemplifies the qualities that Carol felt were so important. There will be a $200 scholarship with this award.
Submit your nominations to secretary@bchja.com or fax to 604-806-8784, no later than Friday, December 11th at 12 noon. Be sure to include your name, email, and best phone number.
Nominations are to include a brief synopsis of the nominee and why you feel they should receive this award (maximum one typed page, double spaced)
After all nominations are received, you will receive a list, and vote for your first and second choice (must vote for people from another barn).
Results of the vote will be tabulated, and the winner will be announced at the gala.
Thank you in advance for your participation. The juniors consider this to be a very special award, and we can all do our part to honor Carol's memory in this wonderful way.
