It is acknowledged that some were hoping for a return to November for our year-end gala. The Cascades in Langley is no longer available to us in November, so a search was undertaken to find another venue, large enough to accomodate us, at a comparable price. This was not successful. The feedback received about the gala this year was very positive, with a few suggestions for improvement that will be incorporated next year, including a proper sound system. Anyone interested in working with the planning group this year would be welcome. The Silent Auction group will also be enlarged. If you are interested in assisting with Gala 2009 (held in 2010!), please contact any member of the board.
